Old person using a laptop computer

Hey, Old People! Don’t Send Everything Using FB Messenger!

That’s What Normal Facebook Posts are For!

Yeah, you’re doing it wrong.

It’s like crying wolf, basically. You’re sending a message, so something must be kind of urgent (at least a little) and be personal, but no… you’re sending stuff that isn’t a personal message but a link to an article or an image or something. That’s not right.

Post that on your wall and it’ll end up in our news feeds – where it’s supposed to be.

Stop looking like you don’t know what you’re doing and please stop doing this. Cease and decist! 🙂

Or, keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll either mute you or unfriend you… it’s your choice.

Normal people: feel free to post this article to your wall when you have friends using Facebook Messenger to post things that should go on their wall. That way, you’re not singling them out but just offering helpful advice to everyone (yeah… passive aggressive).

Hopefully you can give me answers I’m really desperate. How to access old Facebook account if email and phone number is expired and can’t be reactivated? Then no way to get codes from Trusted Contacts as all their accounts are deleted?
