So Facebook came out with “Facebook Live” where you can broadcast live video to your friends. There are even TV commercials encouraging people to use Facebook Live. The problem is, you get notified whenever one of your friends goes live. This might be great sometimes but it can also be downright annoying.
Here’s how to turn off the Facebook Live notifications. You’ll still be able to see the videos in your feed, of course – you just won’t get the notification. You know, so you can go on with your life without those interruptions. This works for iPhones, Android phones (apps) and the desktop version of Facebook.
How to Do It:
As of right now, to turn these notifications off, you have to do it on a desktop/laptop computer.
- Login to Facebook on a computer.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Notifications (on the left).
- Go to “On Facebook.”
- Under “Live Videos” change “On” to “All Off.”
And you’re done. Go back to peace and quiet. 🙂
